The Forum is an open group for women who are diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum or who identify as being on the autism spectrum. The aim of the group is to provide a safe, non-judgemental forum for women to share their thoughts, experiences and ideas. You may participate actively or passively: you can talk or bring written contributions, involve yourself in group discussion or simply listen to what other women have to say. Drop in morning support sessions are held in Television House on a Wednesday and Friday from 10.30am till 12.30pm term time only. Everybody is welcome, with or without a formal diagnosis of ADHD, ASD or Asperger Syndrome. The session offers a chance to meet other parents in a similar situation. There are family support workers available to discuss any support and help needed in a confidential environment. This could be a good place to start if you’re new to ADHD…
